2017-2018 School Calendar.

 

Parents please ensure you can logon to Parent Portal. Look for the PowerSchool button on our school webpage or click here. This is where you will access daily updates on your student’s marks and attendance, school fees and more. Final term report cards are also shared with you through Parent Portal and are not mailed out from the school.

 

**  Alberta Education has now made student access to their official transcript of marks available to all grade 10- 12 student available through a myPass account (myPass.alberta.ca). Grade 10 marks will first appear after the first semester.

Monday, October 16

  • Grab and Go Breakfast – @ 8am in the cafeteria. Pay what you can.
  • CCHS Students on board the Pacific Grace – follow their week long, sailing exploration of the Strait of Georgia here.
  • MADD Presentation for Grade 9 and 10. Learn more here

Tuesday, October 17

  • Parent Council Meeting  - 7 pm CCHS Library
  • Girls Soccer to Okotoks for League Final. Depart CCHS @ 1:50pm/Return @ 8:30pm

Wednesday, October 18

  • Grab and Go Bagels & Toast – @ 8am in the cafeteria. Pay what you can.

Thursday, October 19

  • Academic Awards. CCHS Theatre 7pm.

Friday, October 20

  • Grab and Go Breakfast – @ 8am in the cafeteria. Pay what you can.
  • PLC Day Students released from class at 11:40pm
  • Wolverines Football to Calgary – Depart CCHS @ 5:15pm/Return @9:30pm
  • Sr. Boys Volleyball to Brooks. Depart CCHS @ TBA
  • Sr. Girls Volleyball to Olds. Depart CCHS @ TBA
  • JV Girls and Boys Volleyball to Okotoks. Depart CCHS @ TBA

  • October 23rd – Over 15 Universities, Colleges and Post –Secondary Institutes at CCHS 1- 3 pm. 
  • October 27th  – Photo Retakes.
  • October 30th  – Booking Starts for Parent Teacher Interviews – main page of CCHS Website.
  • November 1/2  – Parent Teacher Interviews 5-8 pm
  • November 3  – Parent Teacher Interviews 8:30 am – Noon
  • November 7 – University of King’s lecture event in Calgary – please see Grad Update on our website for more information.

Upcoming

Grab and Go Breakfast. "pay what you can".  Is a free “pay what you can” breakfast offered at CCHS every Monday and Friday morning (bagels and Toast on Wednesdays). All welcome. We encourage you to help support this important initiative.  We have made this easy by adding an optional $15 item to the school fee section of Parent Portal.  Look for more information about this program coming soon.

CCHS Girls Soccer team

      Congrats to the Girls on their Semi-Final win this week. The girls are off to Okotoks for the League Final Oct 17th.

 

Parents of Anxious Kids

    Anxiety in children and youth is often misunderstood and can be difficult to manage. It can show up in many different forms, at any given time, seemingly out of nowhere. If you are the parent or caregiver of an anxious child/youth or have concerns about your child’s worries, you are invited to attend this monthly support group. Through         facilitated discussion, guest speakers and networking with others, parents will gain information, strategies and support. Learn more here.

 

How to Pay School Fees

You can pay your School Fees online through your Power School/Parent Portal Account; link is on the cchs.crps.ca webpage.  Once you sign on, under Navigation click on Student Fees.

Payment can be made by Credit Card (MasterCard and VISA) and INTERAC. 

If you wish to pay by Cheque or Cash, you can do so through the CCHS Main Office.​
