2017-2018 School Calendar.

 

Parents please ensure you can logon to Parent Portal. Look for the PowerSchool button on our school webpage or click here. This is where you will access daily updates on your student’s marks and attendance, school fees and more. Final term report cards are also shared with you through Parent Portal and are not mailed out from the school.

 

**  Alberta Education has now made student access to their official transcript of marks available to all grade 10- 12 student available through a myPass account (myPass.alberta.ca). Grade 10 marks will first appear after the first semester.

Monday, November 13

  • Grab and Go Breakfast – @ 8am in the cafeteria. Pay what you can.
  • Team Leadership – To Bow Valley SPCA. Depart CCHS @9:50am /Return 11:15am

Tuesday, November 14

  • Sage Students – To Mosquito Creek. Depart CCHS @ 11:30am/ Return 3pm Nov. 16
  • Important SALTS meeting for October 2018 trips – CCHS Rm 1214 @ 7pm
  • The ‘Parents of Anxious Kids’ discussion will continue on Tuesday, November 14 from 7 – 8:45pm at the Town of Canmore Civic Centre in the classroom.  Please RSVP by noon on Monday, November 13.  Call 403.609.3743 if you would like to attend. How to Calm Anxiety in Kids is an article by Lynn Lyons available on her website if you would like a refresher on Lynn’s approach to managing anxiety.

Upcoming

Grab and Go Breakfast. "pay what you can".  Is a free “pay what you can” breakfast offered at CCHS every Monday and Friday morning (bagels and Toast on Wednesdays). All welcome. We encourage you to help support this important initiative.  We have made this easy by adding an optional $15 item to the school fee section of Parent Portal.  Look for more information about this program coming soon.

School Council and Grab and Go Breakfast Fee

The School Council and Grab & Go breakfast are optional fees that can be added to a basket -- even once the fees have already been paid.  When you sign into Parent Portal, you click on School Fees, Student will show $0 owing, you then just click on the student's tab (tab above with Students name) and then along the bottom, School Council Fee and Breakfast club show as fees that can be added to your baskets.

How to Pay School Fees

You can pay your School Fees online through your Power School/Parent Portal Account; link is on the cchs.crps.ca webpage.  Once you sign on, under Navigation click on Student Fees.

Payment can be made by Credit Card (MasterCard and VISA) and INTERAC. 

If you wish to pay by Cheque or Cash, you can do so through the CCHS Main Office.​

The Soroptimist International of Banff and Canmore is hosting a one day career support conference for girls in grades 10-12. It is being held in Banff at the Fenland Recreation Centre on Nov 25th from 10 am – 4pm. For more information please click here.
