Isniyes to this inspiring group of students for recording the CRPS Land Acknowledgement with our Knowledge Keepers last week. We look forward to viewing the dancing and drumming that took place!
Thank you to Ms. G.and all of the participants for an amazing Spring Concert! It is wonderful to hear our students perform and we are grateful for our strong Music program at CCHS.
The Student G7 Mock Debate was a huge success! Students really enjoyed themselves and stepped up into their various roles. During the down time it was wonderful to see students engaging with each other, inter-school connections were made and students were challenged to think critically and represent their country of choice. The teacher feedback was stellar, so much so, that there is a plan to run a similar session next year. Stay tuned!

Introducing our Student Wellness Advisory Groups for the 2026-2026 School Year
Introducing our Student Wellness Advisory Group for the 2025-2026 school year. Throughout this year our new SWAG block has been discussed at School Council. In addition a dedicated information session for parents was held on March 13th 2025. You can find the presentation from that session on our website here. All students from grade 9 to 12 will be assigned to a mandatory SWAG class for the 2025-2026 school year. The class will run each Monday, Wednesday and on full day Fridays for 30 mins between A and B block. Attendance is mandatory and at least 80% attendance at SWAG is required to participate in our graduation ceremony, this is a similar requirement to needing 20 hours of volunteer experience to participate in our graduation ceremony. We are very excited to launch this initiative in line with the wellness goals of our Division.
