Complementary Programs

Helping Student Explore Their Interests and Aptitudes!

Canmore Collegiate High School offers a rich selection of complementary programs that extend learning beyond the classroom, allowing students to explore interests, gain real-world experience, and prepare for future careers. These programs provide students with dynamic, hands-on opportunities to grow academically, personally, and socially in a supportive environment.

Whether it’s the adventure of the WILD program, where students gain wilderness skills and leadership experience in the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies, or the SALTS program, where students learn teamwork and resilience while navigating the BC coastline on a tall ship, CCHS offers unique ways to engage students in meaningful learning. For those looking towards post-secondary education, Dual Credit courses provide a head start, allowing students to earn both high school and college credits in partnership with institutions like SAIT and Olds College.

These complementary programs are designed to inspire students, broaden their perspectives, and equip them with practical skills that will serve them well in high school and beyond. At CCHS, education is not just about academics; it’s about nurturing well-rounded individuals ready for the future.
