Each fall, CCHS proudly hosts two major post-secondary fairs, offering students and families valuable opportunities to explore options for their future education.
Out-of-Province (OOP) Post-Secondary Fair
The OOP Fair brings together representatives from over 50 post-secondary institutions across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for students considering universities, colleges, and programs outside Alberta to gather information, ask questions, and learn about academic programs, admission requirements, and student life at institutions across the country.
- When: October (exact dates vary each year)
- Where: CCHS Gym
- Who Can Attend: Open to all students and families.
In-Province (ELAA) Post-Secondary Fair
The Educational Liaison Association of Alberta (ELAA) Fair connects students with Alberta’s universities, colleges, polytechnics, and training programs. This event helps students and families explore Alberta’s diverse educational opportunities, making it easier to plan their next steps.
- When: November (exact dates vary each year)
- Where: CCHS Gym
- Who Can Attend: Open to all students and families.
Both fairs are a chance for students to speak directly with recruiters, ask questions about programs and admission pathways, and gather resources to make informed decisions about post-secondary education. Families are encouraged to attend and continue the conversation at home to support students in planning their future.
