The Fashion Studies program at Banff Community High School offers students a dynamic journey into the creative world of fashion design and apparel construction. This hands-on course series provides a comprehensive exploration of the fashion industry, guiding students through the entire design process—from initial sketches and pattern-making to fabric selection and garment construction. Students learn essential skills like sewing and tailoring while experimenting with various materials, styles, and techniques, allowing them to bring their unique fashion visions to life.

In addition to practical skills, Fashion Studies delves into the history of fashion, current trends, and the business side of the industry.
